Troxerutin is a derivative of the natural bioflavonoid rutin. lt can be found inmany plants, and easily extracted from Sophora japonica. Sophora japonica isthe dried flower buds of the leguminous plant Sophora japonica. ltsappearance is yellowish-brown or yellowish-green, slightly shriveled. Thelower calyx has a bell-shaped apex with 5-toothed lobes, and the upper partis an unopened corolla, with different sizes and sparse outer surfaces. Rawwhite pubescent. Crunchy in texture, weak in flavor and slightly bitter intaste. The flowers are green and thick, with strong buds and no branches.
