Chrysin powder is extracted from bignoniaceae plants auch as the seeds and bark of Oroxylum indicum (L.)Vent., Pinus mon-ticola Dougl. P.aristata Engelm. 

Chrysin belongs to a class of chemicals called flavonoids. It occurs naturally in various plants and substances, such as the passionflower, silver linden, and some geranium species; and in honey and bee propolis (glue). It has a higher content in propolis products.
