Empagliflozin, chemical name: (1S)-1,5-anhydro-1-(4-chloro-3-{4-[(3S)-tetrahydrofuran-3-oxy]benzyl}phenyl)-D-glucitol, is clinically used to treat type 2 diabetes.
Empagliflozin tablets have the effect of lowering blood sugar and are usually used to treat type 2 diabetes. Empagliflozin is a highly selective SGLT2 inhibitor that can protect cardiovascular and renal function.
