Vonoprazan fumarate (TAK-438) is a potassium ion (K+) competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), a reversible proton pump inhibitor. After entering the human body, this product stops the secretion of gastric acid in the final step of acid secretion of gastric parietal cells by inhibiting the combination of K+ and H+-K+-ATPase (proton pump), thereby achieving the acid suppression effect. This product has a strong and lasting inhibitory effect on gastric acid secretion.
