Nicotinamide ribose is a white or light yellow crystalline powder, odorless, bitter, slightly hygroscopic, and is mainly used in the field of biochemical industry. Nicotinamide ribose (Nicotinamide riboside, NR) is a derivative of vitamin B3, which can form nicotinamide adenine Chemicalbook dinucleotide (NAD, also called coenzyme I) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide adenine. (NADP, also known as coenzyme II), is a precursor of an important coenzyme NAD+. Nicotinamide ribose plays an important role in the energy production of human cells. It is involved in the synthesis of intracellular nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (an important coenzyme for cell energy conversion).
Nicotinamide ribose (NR) is a derivative of vitamin B3 and the precursor substrate of Noga factor nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). It can increase NAD+ levels after ingestion. Beta-nicotinamide ribose is used as a raw material for anti-aging health products.
Nicotinamide riboside is a precursor of orally active NAD+, which can increase NAD+ levels and activate SIRT1 and SIRT3. Nicotinamide riboside is a source of vitamin B3 (niacin), which can enhance oxidative metabolism and prevent metabolic abnormalities induced by a high-fat diet. Nicotinamide riboside can reduce cognitive deterioration in a transgenic mouse model of Alzheimer's disease.
