Phytase, as an enzyme preparation produced by microbial fermentation, can decompose natural organic phosphorus in animal feed. Adding phytase to the feed can replace some calcium hydrogen phosphate. Due to the absorption of natural phosphorus in the feed, the phosphorus removal amount from animal feces can be reduced by 40% to 60%, reducing the environmental pollution caused by phosphorus removal from feces from intensive livestock farms.
