Indications
It can be used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia and hypertension. It can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs such as diuretics or α1-adrenergic blockers.
Usage and Dosage
Usual dosage for adults: The initial dose is 1 mg before bedtime. After 1 or 2 weeks, the daily dose can be doubled to achieve the desired effect. The usual maintenance dose is 2 to 4 mg once a day. Symptoms are significantly improved after 2 weeks of administration. The maximum dose is 10 mg.
