Application & Funtion

Spermidine can delay protein aging.
Because proteins with different molecular weights may play different roles in the aging process, some large molecular weight proteins may play a key role in controlling the leaf aging process. Once these proteins begin to degrade, aging will be inevitable, and the degradation of these proteins should be controlled. The aging process can be delayed, and the reason why spermidine can delay its aging may be to promote the synthesis of these proteins or prevent their degradation.

Spermidine maintains cell membrane stability, increases antioxidant enzyme activity, improves photosystem II (PSII) and related gene expression. Spermidine also significantly reduces  and O2.- content.
