Poria cocos extract (Indian Bread Extract) is derived from the dry sclerotia of Polyporaceae Poriacocos (Schw.) Wolf. Poria cocos is an annual or perennial fungus. The ancient names are Fuling and Futu. Alias Song Potato, Songling, Songbaiyu and so on. Use sclerotia as medicine. Mainly produced in Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Anhui, Zhejiang and other places. Poria cocos extract mainly contains triterpenes and polysaccharides, which have the functions of invigorating the spleen, calming the nerves, diuresis, and dampness.
