Function of Hemin

Heme iron: with hemoglobin and myoglobin, neuroglobin porphyrin (porphyrin) iron binding it in the form of porphyrin iron absorbed directly by the intestinal epithelial cells. Phytic roots generally not inhibit or VC and other factors promoting factors. For two types of iron absorption has an impact is to store iron in the body volume. 
 
Dietary iron into heme iron and non-heme iron, heme iron is easily absorbed by the body, mainly in the animal red meat, liver, blood, mainly in the non-heme iron in plant foods, not easy to be human absorption.

Application of Hemin

1.In food field: Acted as food ingredients, thickener, fruits&beverage antistaling agent, fruit juice clarifier, forming, adsorbent and health foods, etc
