Potassium carbonate is a kind of inorganic substance, chemical formula K2CO3, molecular weight is 138.206, white crystalline powder, density 2.428g/cm3, melting point 891ºC. Soluble in water, aqueous solution is alkaline, insoluble in ethanol,  and ether. Strong hygroscopic, exposed to the air can absorb carbon dioxide and water, into potassium bicarbonate, should be sealed packaging

Application & Funtion

Mainly used as the screen glass shell, fertilizer decarburization, vacuum tubes,inorganic salt, dyes and other industrial production of raw materials. Used for fire extinguisher, ceramics, pharmaceutical raw materials.

Potassium carbonate is used as an alkaline agent and a dough improver, and can suppress the acidity of the noodles, can be used for pasta, and is used in an appropriate amount according to the production needs.
